L&T not recognizing SDHC or image

I'm using a GH1 (hacked) and have 3 AVCHD files recorded, but when I open L&T window no clips are showing up, so usually I click on the top left button and select the card or the image I have made too (not any folders).
When I click OK, the bottom of the clips windows flashes quickly that it is adding the clips, but they never show up.

Any idea what's wrong?

It's happened a few times and I usually eject the card or quit and restart FCP, and everything works.

It's happened with both Sandisk Extreme class 10 and Transcend class 6 cards, so I'm thinking the cards are fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

What version of FCP and what specific computer?

FCP 7.0.2
MacPro 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon

I've tried repair permissions and shutdown.

Have you trashed your FCP preferences, and reset those on launch?

Have you installed Perian lately?
