KITT Happens

Man, if you didn't think so already, that logo is all you need to show that it's going to be an hour-long Ford commercial.
 
eh, I still like the old Kitt. I used to watch that show everyday after school. (of course re-runs for me)

Remember that TV show called 'Vipers'? It had 'intelligent' transforming cars kind of like knight rider. Let's hope this isn't that all over again.

I'd much rather have either of those!!! They are nicer cars but LESS flashy (ie minus the flashy add-ons)

The new KITT looks like some rich kids tricked out ride from South Cali. But then again I just realized that it only looks like that in 'super' mode. It's not that bad when in regular mode. Wish they didn't have it in super mode in the photos.
 
Oh, wow . . . if you thought this show was going to be sewer sludge, you weren't nearly ambitious enough. This makes Bionic Woman look like Hill Street Blues in comparison.
 
Dude, "Attack Kitt"? That's generally the new "Super Pursuit mode" (last two years of Knight Rider and yes I was a fan).

I watched the first episode on DVD at work a few days ago (I work at a NBC TV Station) and man.. I almost went back to dooing real work. I didn't catch the broadcast in HD, but after how poor a lot of the effects looked in SD, I can hardy image how bad it looked in HD.

The "Double crossing" twist at the end of the first episode? That's desperation right there.

Unless they keep firing more über-napalm missiles putting KITT into "Sauna Mode", I'll bet the show won't make it to Christmas.


Oh, if anyone wants a bumper sticker (why??), NBC sent us a stack this week: "KITT is my Copilot", "KITT Happens" and [mildly amusing] "I (heart) TurboBoost".


- Mikko ...... is trying to convince his wife to let him install classic-style "scanner lights" on their their new car.
 
I like the "Kitt Happens". I wonder why they don't just rewrite the old eps and update them and pretend they're new. It worked for "Get Smart." LOL.
