Just snagged the old Panasonic 14-42mm because I wanted a 2nd lens for wide angle-ish video for handheld stuff that had OIS. I have the 14-140 which definitely performs IS for video, but, I'm not seeing anything in the menus in video mode to enable IS with this 14-42mm...Did I just blow $100?
edit: You can only tick the IS on and off via a stills mode, not the video mode. But whatever it's set on in stills, transfers to the video mode as well. Was confused because on the GH2, it signifies on screen what IS if any, is enabled. On the GH3, only if you switch the IS off will it indicate that so on screen.
