Kingston 16GB Class 10 not working on HMC40

Bought a Kingston 16GB Class 10 SDHC today

for some reason, this card is unable to be format by HMC40,

funny thing is, it works fine if you format on PC or other digital camera devices,

but you just can't format this card on HMC40, it showing card error please reformat, then you are not able to use this card any more, unless format on PC again!

Store refuse to refund due to it works perfectly on all devices.. just not HMC40!

Beware! Do not buy this card!

I appear to be having the same issue with the Kingston 32gb Class 10 SDHC card.

I get the "Card Error / Please format" message if I try to format on the camera. I downloaded the Panasonic SD formatting utility and am doing a Full Format with Erase On.

I did a quick format earlier and got a card error after recording just a couple minutes. Hopefully it will work after the full format.

Either way, I'll likely be returning this card.

I've used the Kingston 8G class 4 without any problem
However not comparable to Panasonic gold series class 10. THAT is a great card

I stick with Transend, I have aslo had issues with Kingstons. I now have 4 16gb class10 Transend's and they are great!!
