The documentary, Kingdom Come, follows the multi-year journey of a first-time director (Daniel Gillies) and his producer (John Lyons Murphy) through the challenging process of raising financing for their independent film entitled Broken Kingdom. This individual study of indie perseverance interweaves itself with rare and intimate interviews from myriad filmmakers and actors sharing their own personal stories of challenge and triumph in indie film.

Just watched the doc...the trailer sold me. Love watching this sort of stuff. It gives me a kick in the pants to get my next feature done. I HIGHLY recommend you go look up Self-Medicated, which is one of my favorite examples of insane dumb-luck mixed with pure will filmmaking. The BTS is on Youtube...watch it, you'll be impressed lol.
