KING KONG

Re: KING KONG

too bad Peter Jackson appears in the interviews of the new star wars dvd's to comment.

Re: KING KONG

All the "pre" stuff looks great. But to be honest I'm totally disappointed that he is doing a remake of King Kong. I really believe that he is chicken, because basically 'HOW" can he top the LOTR series, and by doing a "Remake" of something else, he can't be held to the same standard as if he was doing another original book, or even original script. ;)

Just my "mean" two cents.

Oh, and yes, I will be watching it, atleast on dvd if not in the theatre.

Re: KING KONG

you're right.
but then agian, King Kong is Jacksons childhood film.
If he really respected it, he shouldn't have to remake it?
or else it loses that nostalgia.
he possibly cannot make a better movie.
but I think he will make a better movie. that's what I believe.

Re: KING KONG

WOW!!! For some reason I love big ass trees. That looked incredible! It reminds me of Serect of Mana. I don't know if anyone remembers this video game for SNES. You know those big trees did it for me. I'm a big fan now. One more time, WOW!!!

Re: KING KONG

It looks like they are going old school and staying true to the original; they have concept paintings of a TREX, the raft in the water sequence (which means we should see the serpent!). I hope we see the PTERADACTAL (I cant spell T E R A D A K TA L ).

I cant wait man!

Oh, I understand perfectly why he'd want to remake a favorite film... I'm the same way and have to slap myself to keep from doing it. It's like...um...um...you like them SO much that you want to be more than just the audience.

Re: KING KONG

On the dat 48 featurette when the guy explains the tracking dots as "holes in the blue screen, and we couldn't find any blue gaff tape." HAHAHAHA

Re: KING KONG

always do get inspired watching each department. especially the ART dept because they practically make the movie.
