Ah, Philip Bloom, the Harvey Weinstein of video production. It’s always upsetting and offensive to see his videos being promoted.

Harvey Weinstein of Video? Did he exploit women? Couple of years ago he was accused of domestic violence against his girlfriend. Though not acceptable at all, however that may be different than being Harvey Weinstein. So I am curious as well.

Yes, what I heard was domestic violence, which would make him Johnny Depp, not Harvey Weinstein.

(no idea about the relative severity of both domestic violence cases, hope nobody is offended by the comparison)

Accused by ex-girlfriend, denied by Bloom, never proven (as far as I know).

At least in America a person is innocent until proven guilty. Well, perhaps not on the Internet, though, unfortunately.

You're innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. In the outside world, there's no such standard... which is why you're seeing people's careers get destroyed based entirely on allegations.

That would be a good idea.

I will just point out, because we always like accuracy, that it was not just one ex-girlfriend who accused him. It was two. And that was good enough for some of his best friends, so, good enough for me.

Now eagerly awaiting the cleansing that the mods will run on this thread.

He was accused by multiple women, not just his ex.

Also Weinstein hasn’t been proven guilty of anything either.

Bloom is further proof that if you’re popular enough people will always look the other way when it comes to abusing women.
