kid likes oil bars (new skool graffiti with timelapse)

Very nice use of time-lapse. I also liked the rich color saturation of the scene in general. I would have liked to have watched more of your film, please post more as your film progresses, nice work.

I don't know if the dudes sweater was inside out on purpose or not, I didn't bother asking. The guy is kinda out there, so anything goes. As far as my wind sock in the picture, that's totally amateur. It was my first time out with it, so a lesson was learned, though I didn't notice when shooting. The artist insisted I drank with him, so I'll use that as my excuse. Thanks for noticing.

hey dogcat
pretty cool timelapse. dig the artists style.
I just finished directing a feature length documentary on 4 graff artists out of LA. Check out our myspace and trailer.

good luck with everything. Let me know if you have any questions and how you liked our trailer!

Hey Keegs, I really liked the trailer. Lot's of good danger and police presence. How's the movie doing? Made you a my space friend.

That looked good Dogcat...need to see some more.

Keegs, that looks like it was a fun doc to do. Running from the cops is such great exercise.

Thanks Drew, I'm on it. The main problem I'm having is organising shoots with the artists, because as artists come, they tend to be reclusive and half don't have phones.

Think of it as a nature shoot, where you have to sit and wait for the timid artist to come out of his burrow. I would suggest using the pre-record option because you never know when the moment might happen.

Hi dogcat
Nice timelaps shot to follow the work in process.
In the right upper corner of your movie, we see there your ext. mic at the end shots,
I had the same problem before, so I mentioned it directly.

I've also put some timelaps in our filmtrailer 'Delft RefleXionZ'
you can watch it on www.studioro.com
All your comments are welcome, thanks

Greetz, Robert

Thanks Robert, I liked your' reel in general. Looks great. I found the timelapses too short, overall not as nice photographically as the realtime stuff. And yes I knew about the mike before I posted the clip, and probably won't be using any of the clips that had the mike in it. I only let my "sloppy around the edges" shine through when I post on this forum because I feel as the dogcat I can get away with it.
And Drew, I really like your metaphors. Knowing you , a nature shoot must mean guns. Luckily an artist called while I was reading your' post, and serious contact just got made. I feel like a successfull round of buckshot just hit it's target. The pre-record idea is good too, even if you meant it as a joke. There is something to be said about having the camera either ready, or allready recording when doing documentary. The good sh't often happens or is said off camera, and our job is to get closer to it. I could use a 30 sec pre-record.
