Kessler what happened...

To the computer based keyframe motion control system? I've tried searching but no luck. I watched a clip on YouTube that states it will be shipping sometime in July 2011. I'm hoping this is still a go and can bypass the clunky controllers as a matter of fact both controllers. I have the slider and want to pick up the motor and head. Anyone else interested in this setup?

93 views and no one speaks English? Unless the 93 have no idea how powerful this tool is and just don't know it.

I am very interested in this setup too :)

If done right, it will be simple for the user.

I think it might be a bit complicated for the manufacturer to produce an awesome trouble-free system though.

I'm sure they're just taking their time to get it right.

To me it's almost a good thing that they are spending so long on it.

I'll try to have my dollars ready when they are.

The new system is called Fusion. Yes it is taking a bit longer than we had anticipated, but we have a team of engineers working on this every day. We have added multiple changes and improvements to the original beta prototype that we showed at NAB 2011. Our goal is to have the system completed and ready to begin shipping in limited quantities soon after NAB. We will be showing the system at NAB 2012 (booth #C9848) in April.

If you have not seen it yet, this is a BTS that Tom Guilmette shot while Eric was out west doing field testing of the Fusion system.

We will also be going live with an informational site for Fusion in the next couple weeks.

So, the Fusion system is still very much in the works and if we can hit our goal, should begin shipping middle of this year. Be sure to stop by the booth at NAB (with Zacuto C9848) and check the Fusion system out.

Thanks!
Chris

I figured since no one had interest the last time I checked why bother updating? But since you asked, yes I called and it's still under development. Ya I'm a little late. Thanks for the update Chris I'll see you guys at NAB.

Affordable motion control - the final frontier for DIY filmmaking.

(Ummm... this probably won't be all that "affordable", but one can dream or hope...)
