I recently purchased the Kessler K-Pod Tripod in December 2011. It was intended to be used for a crane/slider setup I'm building but after testing out the tripod with my system, I've decided to go a different route. Since I'm now past Kessler's refund timeframe (14 days), I'm offering this up for sale.

Don't get me wrong, the tripod is a very solid piece of equipment and I highly recommend their gear (I even own some of their other products), it just isn't the right tripod for my setup. The tripod is brand new and has only been setup twice, always indoors.

The Kessler website lists the K-Pod Tripod for $599. I'm willing to reduce the price to $540 (plus you pay shipping - I'm located in cental Illinois). If you were in the market for this tripod, it's an easy way to save a few bucks.

Contact me if you're interested.

This is just the tripod legs right? No head? You should post some pics. And just out of curiosity what different route are you going?

You are correct. This is just the tripod legs without the Hercules head. I've attached 2 photos for reference. DSS_5800.jpgDSS_5801.jpg

NOTE: As far as my new setup, I've decided to use my existing Manfrotto tripod until I either save up and go with a Sachtler heavy duty setup or Acebil tripod (a lot cheaper, but I don't know much about them). Although both of these don't support as much weight as the Kessler, they both can go about 18" lower for the minumum height which is my main concern given the custom rig I've built (that's for a different thread).
