Kessler crane lite vs. 8?

Hey you guys,
looking at getting a kessler crane,
either the lite or the 8
for my hpx. just gonna run it with a wideangle adapter,
no 35mm setup, so any suggestions either way?
i shoot mainly mountain biking, so the hikeability factor
is a definite concern....
thanks,
theo

well, from reading up on the Lite version, and watching the sample video on Kessler's site, here's a quick thought. it may fare better with a dslr or more compact cam, and maybe not so much with the HPX. The minute you add any accessory to your camera, you may be maxing out on the weight limit, and you'll struggle a bit more to get shots that arent a bit wobbly. i saw quite a bit of wobble in the sample video, and while it was shot on very rugged terrain, they were using a dslr that weighs less than 2 pounds...so i'm thinking the HPX might be a bit heavy.

again, just my thoughts and a bit of opinion. hopefully someone else will chime in and go further, as i dont own a crane/jib.

The KC8 and the Lite are two very different models. The Lite is a basic model similar to the ProAim or JibOne models. The KC8 is very much a pro jib that you can mount a fluid or remote head to.

They are also in very different price points. What's your budget?

thanks you guys.
my budget is definately tight,
but on the site the difference is only $100 between the two.
i actually ended up ordering the lite, based on the mobility factor.
i appreciate your help tho!
i'll try n post some shots/feedback when the thing arrives....
