I'm putting up for sale my Kessler Crane KC Lite 8.0 package. Purchased this a couple of years ago and have had lots of good productions with it. I'm planning to purchase a larger crane from Kessler and won't be needing this one anymore.

I'll see about adding some pictures later, but the condition is like new. I took good care of this package and so if there are any dings or scrapes, I sure can't spot them. Functionally it is as solid as the day I bought it. I also have a couple of extra assembly knobs to spare (in case you lose one on location). Cranes don't really wear out, so it's not really hard to keep them in good condition.

The package I purchased from Kessler was a crane+tripod package that they no longer sell (they only sell the crane now, and they are pushing their K-Pod/Hercules supports instead).

Here's a link to the Kessler product page for the crane: http://www.kesslercrane.com/product-p/100041.htm
Davis & Sanford Tripod/Head (includes case): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...ROVISTA7518B_Provista_7518_Tripod_w_FM18.html
Davis & Sanford Dolly: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/280124-REG/Davis_Sanford_W3_W3_Dolly_with_3.html

I paid $550 for the complete KC Lite package that included the crane and tripod and dolly. I paid an additional $70 for the padded case for the crane. Total I paid (including shipping) was $650.

Right now Kessler sells the crane for $400, and the tripod/dolly combo would cost about $210 at B&H. Shipping from Kessler would be about $35. Total to purchase this set brand new today would be $645 (almost what I paid a few years ago).

I'll let the whole package go for $500 + shipping. Domestic (US) shipment only. I'm willing to split the package if you don't need the tripod+dolly. However, the Davis & Sanford makes a decent spare general-purpose tripod as well, so even if you don't need it for the crane you may have some use for it.

I prefer Square payment over the phone. I can also take cash in person (Atlanta area). I'd like to avoid PayPal if possible.

Thanks!

Nope...it'll work just fine. I think the weight range is up to 10 lbs and the AC130 with battery and shotgun mic won't exceed that. For crane work, a bare cam is usually the order. If you typically strap a brick or two onto your camcorder, that might push it over the limit, but otherwise, should be fine. :)
