This is a vintage Swiss Kern-Paillard Switar 16mm f1.8, originally designed for Bolex and similar 16mm cinema cameras. Glass is clear, iris and focus mechanisms are perfect, finish is in good condition. The lens is delightfully compact, about half the size and weight of a D-cell battery, and it still yields incredible images. Paired with the BMPCC, it makes a very pocketable little powerhouse.
Below is a little home video done exclusively with the 16/1.8 on my GH2 - note that with the GH2's ~1.9 crop, only a +25% image resize was necessary to eliminate the bulk of the vignetting. This lens will fully cover S16.
