WASHINGTON – During a detailed analysis of four west coast RadNet air monitor filters, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) identified trace amounts of radioactive iodine, cesium, and tellurium consistent with the Japanese nuclear incident.

What an eloquent way of putting it.

Many people would have said "pooped". (At least those who have young children and have curbed our language a bit.)

Didn't the EPA say that it was safe to breathe the air at ground zero? Or did I imagine that?

Exactly my point. If the EPA is admitting to any atmospheric contamination, well, there might be some cause to remain alert.
That's all I'm saying. I'm not an alarmist, that's why I posted a link to the Geiger counter readings.
Not saying they're to be interpreted as scripture, just another independent resource to consider.

Yeah, but I have noticed some hair falling out... oh wait, it's just male pattern baldness.

Move along...

Traces of various isotopes have also been detected off Vancouver Island as well. The amounts are so insignificant that the amounts of radiation that show up from incoming cosmic rays during the week easily overwhelm them by comparison. What that tells us is the radiation detection equipment is functioning. However, if you're the sort of person who likes to run around in a panic screaming the sky is falling, updated calculations on the galactic collision between the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way have shown that Andromeda, which is heading straight for us at over 600,000 MPH will collide with us a few hundred thousand years earlier that was originally expected. OMG, that means we definately now have less than 5 billion years to get things in order!
