I'm new to DSLR video. Besides keeping a deep depth of field, is there anything else I can try to achieve sharp focus when shooting footage of running kids/dogs with a 24-70mm F4 at 24fps with manual focus?
Maintain the same distance / speed as them the entire time is your best bet. Just did this today with my cat, just tried to match her pace and it turned out well.
