Have you tried using the bonsai drive at all? If so, would love to hear your comments on it.

yes I have one on my desk and use it for recording VO's. It's a simple design and I think these guys have an HD version they haven't released yet, or someone at IBC told me.

Rosendahl has been around for a few years at least. They make a synchronizer/house clock that is fairly popular, at least around the Digidesign community. That little device looks pretty handy.
