The band wanted a "Jack in the box" look, i.e the video in a confined space, the room was very small and appeared to have been used as a store room or wardrobe, for this I used a GH2 with a wide angle lens, the SLR Magic 12mm T1.6 along with a couple of LEDS lights.

In post I used After Effects, I used the drum track to trigger the pulsating effect. Whilst it probably wasn't entirely necessary, for my own preference on the look I did a fair bit of rotoscoping to stop the effects overwhelming the lead singer in places.

 
The lead singer in this video (Matthew Milnes) has just been awarded with the 2nd youngest ever British Empire Medal by the Queen of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth HRH Queen Elizabeth II for his community work, it's nice to see a musician working in the community foremost and adding something back musically with his spare time.... Recognition by the Queen herself makes it all the more special!
