Hi ,

This a recent promo film for cghearth for one of thier destinations called " KALARI KOVILAKOM " an ancient maharaja palace over 400 years converted into an Ayurevedic retreat.

Its all shot on Sony Z1 - I was editor - final cut pro - some fantastic shots from this cam.

Just thought I'd share

Great camerawork!!! Did you use any filters or color correction?

Did you use any type of stabilization for the camera?

What kind of jib did you use?

Hey Dustindementia,

very few filters used as I wanted more scope in post to warm up or cool etc.
In fact I specifically wanted the DOP to stop using filters as it limited me on the cc.
I used a combination of MB & fcp 's 3 way cc.
As for stabilization - we had jibs & cranes but the jib was very troublesome & constantly needed fixing & balancing. the crane was awesome - very cheap & came with 10 man crew to setup in 30 mins
