Being only about 6 months on this Board, I started wondering if a JVC User Group for the Los Angeles area has ever been started. If yes, is it still going, if no, why not and either way, is there interest in doing something like this. I had the occasion to visit the FCP group in Hollywood one night a few weeks ago and was on the receiving end of some insightful information. Now again, I'm comparatively new to the Board but certainly not to the industry and know of at least three other individuals like me who wouldn't mind getting together to compare notes, share insights and generally talk about what is, for many of us, our profession. The downside is that we're often still on the set into the wee hours but not typically as a rule. One of the great parts of this business and, from what I've read over the last few months, people on this board, is the willingness of its members to, and gratification we find, in helping others and ourselves. What are your individual and collective thoughts?
