[FS: General] JVC TM-H150CG 15" COLOR CORRECTION MONITOR (CRT, Standard Def)

Monitor for sale!

I bought this back in 2006. I used it for only a few small projects. It might as well be brand new. Still stored in the original box. Works absolutely perfectly. Never been dropped or abused in any way.

Great for editing SD. I used it along with my DVX100A. I am no longer a cinematographer by trade, and I never use it. Hoping someone can put it to good use.

**NOTE: This monitor is in LIKE NEW condition, and WILL calibrate BEAUTIFULLY and gives incredibly accurate and detailed picture. Tubes are barely worn and it outputs a top of the line accurate non-shifting WIDE color palette.

***NOTE. Keep in mind, this setup is for SD ONLY. However, for a SD project this monitor is perfect for post, or professional color correction.

*** NOTE this is also a HEAVY monitor, weighing in at 35lbs, so it’s not necessarily the best thing for on set monitoring unless you have a video village type setup.

JVC TMH150CG 15" Color Production Monitor

-----DESCRIPTION-----

The TMH150CGU 15" Color Production Monitor is a very high performance broadcast monitor with 750 lines of horizontal resolution. The monitor has an all-metal case, is widescreen and 4:3 switchable and auto detects both PAL and NTSC systems. It even has a built-in speaker. Standard from the factory the monitor will accept composite and S-Video inputs. The unit also has an expansion slot for cards that add analog component ins and outs and digital SDI ins and outs.

Superior Resolution
The TM-H150CGU is a very high resolution monitor that is more than capable of displaying its standard composite and S-video inputs. When the expansion slot is used for analog component or uncompressed SDI, the unit shows all that can be shown, adequate for almost any edit suite or production location.

Switchable Aspect Ratio
The monitor will display naturally widescreen 16:9 elements as well as conventional 4:3 video. The TM-H150CGU is ready for widescreen production.

Front Panel Operations
Changing color or other standard picture-look parameters can be accessed right from the monitor's front panel. Phase, Chroma, Brightness and Contrast control are all just a push-button away.

Remote
A D-sub 15-pin connector is built-in to provide the user with the ability to select and change aspect ratio, input source and toggle between overscan and underscan with RS-232C.

I paid over $500 for it. It is not available any longer, and was THE most recent professional entry level CRT monitor JVC manufactured before discontinuing their line, and it seems most monitors are LCD now and start at upwards of $1000.

I am asking $400 for this monitor. I would like to use PayPal for the transaction. We can figure out an agreement on shipping costs, if applicable. if you are in the Los Angeles area, then no shipping needed. I can bring it to you! (and I will accept cash, obviously)

Feel free to ask any questions. Give me until the evening to check for posts or questions as I do not have access during the day.

Thanks!
