JVC GY-HM100 lombasted by people

[lifepo4]

I thought this could be a small camcorder similar to the HMC150 (except for less desirable low-light performance), but obviously it has so many design flaws and continues JVC's tradition of making mediocre camcorders. I never had a very favorable opinion about them.

JVC will release consumer-level GZ-HM400 next week.

The shutter/aperture controls on the HM100 suck. As to wide angle, the HM100 is 39mm, the HMC40 is 40mm, compare to the HMC150's 28mm (in 35mm lens terms).
