I have the option to get an JVC GY-HD110U.. i dont know much about these... from what I have seen or been told. that this has a detachable lense. Others have said that you still need a DOF adapter along side of this? can anyone give me some insite on this camera.. my main concerns are .....does this lense on it work as like my DSLR does not as the dvx100b needing an DOF adapter..
and what is a good price range for this and a couple of batteries..

can anyone give me any info on this.. i see that you can buy an adapter to use nikon SLR lenses to.. but something about image is flipped... anyone here have experience with this camera?
 
I used to own one. It is a great camera. I did use a Letus35 adapter on it. But you can get great images without it as well. If you really want shallow depth of field you will need to get the 35 adapter. If you are getting it cheap. Don't be afraid to buy it. I would not pay over $1200 for a mint condition one. Some go on ebay for $1500 but that comes with a Firestore device and extra batteries. I ahve seen them go for as little as $500.

Also it only records 720p
