I'm sure they're going to love it. Got some of those MTV things in there. Check those audio levels... might want to normalize some of the camera audio.

Also -- check out how a widescreen matte would look.

The audio is funky in that because of compression for the web. The smallest decent file with good audio was at 80 megs but the video was choppy so i had to compremise. The music is from various artists. I think Lyncoln park was one, The excecutioners, and some techno that i had. I didnt worry about the copy rights because it was a favor for the coach in return for something he did for me and only the players got a copy. I have a big library of sounds and stuff i cut up, slow down or speed up that i use. Plus i got a new Midi keyboard and a ton of sound effects for it.
I shot 30p and left it 4x3 because i knew it was only going to be seen on TV. The video served its purpose which is all anyone can ask. :) The girls said they had tears forming during the Rocky theme part. It was a very emotional season for them. I wish i followed them the whole season and created a documentary type project but it was a last minute thing I thought of to pay for what was done for me.

As a parent who has sat through about a thousand sports events, you actually made it look like it would be exciting to attand a JV Girl's [or boy's for that matter] ball game. 10:1 every girl on the team loves it. That's what makes this stuff fun. Nice job-you're a good friend.

I tested it out on the plasma screens at work to check quality and the people that saw it were like man, they are really good. They look like WNBA girls. Heh, if they only knew what its really like sitting there watching. Especially when the coach want s me to just film a static shot of the whole floor so he can use it to show the girls the plays and their mistakes. I was like noooo this is a hi-lite video...you want dynamic shots and close ups right in the action.

nice the video looks great. love that shot under the basket in the begining. i did something similar in slow motion and sped it up right as it hit the net.
