First off - - Been reading the mail for 2-3 weeks and you guys / girls shoot some AWESOME video ! End-of-story !
1. I am a brand new member of DVX user group - - just registered yesterday, this is my 1st post, but have been lurking in the wings and soaking up the advice and info. So right now I'll be doing more listening than talking until I have something to contribute.
2. ALSO, just received my brand new 100B delivery yesterday - - beautiful piece of engineering work.
3. Question - my serial number is K6TD00222 R and I.D on the box shows
AG-DVX100BP followed by an "S" inside of a printed square .
Sent Jan a PM and waiting to hear back regarding the SN, but in one of her previous posts she said the U.S. version should have a TC in the middle of the SN and NOT an NC. I am hoping that my TD in the SN is just the TC series running out and Panasonic moving up 1-character to the TD. Also in the box was the instruction for ordering the Magic Bullit, Barry's DVX book, and the warranty card was enclosed. I hope all this sounds legit and indicates I REALLY did get the U.S. version.
4. Unit was purchased from buydig.com and I SPECIFIED that I wanted a Panasonic U.S. warranty unit and NO import grey market item. The guy actually stated that they USED to sell some but don't anymore. And the Magic Bullit and Barry's book, and rebate info is hot-linked right on their website. The buydig.com was really a pleasant transaction and I received the shipment in
2-days.
Anyway, guys - - my pleasure to be aboard and looking forward to learning the ropes and hang'in with the group.
