I dont have a pic yet but I just saw what Hot Rod is working on and it beats them all by far IMO. They have a very super cool EVF set up on it as well as a plate for mounting a recorder to the right side but it looks like part of the camera. It really changes the whole camera into something very professional with a very nice, adjustable top handle. You will send the camera to them when you buy it, they take off the useless EVF and handle and put on their own. If anyone has a pic, post it please! I barely recognized that it was an F3 at first!

It is the New Cineroid with SDI in a metal housing, The mount is outstanding and has plenty of adjustment up down in and out and it can be relocated as well.

What did I say? The first person to make a new housing for the grip side wins. Now "baby Alexa" is not such a ridiculous statement.

That is absolutely the way this camera should have been put together in the first place! Stunning ... almost makes my pocket-book hum ... got to watch out for that.

I love it but Im not sure mounting the recorder there is the best option. You want to see the screen and verify recording, stopping and so on. He said they might offer it with the top and evf mount only. That is my wish. I prefer the KiPro or PIX on a noga arm so you can always place it in the right spot to see what is going on.

Oh daddy like! this is exactly what I wanted with my camera, get ride of all the prosumer stuff and add metal. Now for price and warranty void info. Sadly if it voids the warranty I wouldnt wanna do it. (at least until it expires) I loveee that top handle too. Baby Alexa is right, makes me more excited to know I own this camera haha.

I still hate the cineroid though... a small LCD 5'' is much better than that thing.

I like seeing that Gemini attached on the side. What does this rig do to the palm grip and rocker switch, not that it's bothersome, just curious.

Anyone have any news as to when the Cineroid SDI version is shipping? All the chatter about EVF's circulating around, but no one can deliver.

Michael I know thread stealing here... but is this your camera... if so how do you like the cine-xenar lens... from the first page with all the photos...
