Really good movie. Paul walker, The Rock, vin diesel need I say more? Lol and the theatre I saw it in seemed like the biggest on I've ever been in, which was aweeeeesome

Good story, good acting, and great cinematography.

My rating: 4.5/5 stars
 
I give Fast Five a five out of five (ha...see what I did there?) Really an awesome movie.

Good acting? Might have to disagree with you there, especially the new lady cop. Some super cheesy dialog too, but that's to be expected. It was still pretty entertaining. I like the heist-style narrative way more than plots centered around racing of the old ones.

All I gotta say is when you have people in the movie theatre start clapping in the middle of your movie, than you've done something right

BTW, what's up with people clapping in the movie theatre? Lol its not like vin diesel is there in the theatre with you. Very awkward
 
Was a decent, fun movie but I can't believe how much everyone is liking it (including Ain't it Cool). It's enjoyable but by no means great, a more 'fun' tone than others in the series.

I'd say it's not as good as Fast 1, 4 and maybe even 3.

The laws of physics do not apply to this movie, which is ok but just be warned.

This is some equal opportunity casting too which is great to see. Everyone gets screen time, blacks, whites, girls and boys. Man, The Rock has been eating his vegetables.

There's an extra scene after the credits and its completely stupid. Completely.

I think this film succeeded where the first one did, it tried to actually include relationships. This one spent more time on people even if it was shallow which made all the difference in the world. The car chases and such were kept in the plot and not as much was done just to indulge (except for that race with all of them in the police cars).

I would still give it a 3.5/5 or so because it made me care about what was happening to the characters. I think the first movie did that well. You got invested and when something bad was happening you didn't like it (Jesse getting shot, Vince arm on the side of that truck, etc.).

Somehow it worked, and I think it's because they tried to bring in what makes a good movie in the first place...relationships and tension.
 
Just got back from it. Exactly the sort of movie I typically hate, but this franchise has been my guilty pleasure. This is the best of the bunch so far. My girlfriend was in hysterics the whole time.
 
Enjoyable as hell. Kind of a "Oceans 11" for young'uns. The actor who played Han Seoul-Oh seemed very lethargic.
 
I loved the movie for the action scenes most than anything. Yes they are exaggerated but who cares it is great for entertaining purposes.

It was pretty well done imo and better than the other movies.
 
Wonderful movie great performance of the Vin Diesel and Rock. Every thing is perfect
stunt and action. I love to watch these kind of action movies full of thrill.
