Just Preordered the FS700

[seven.b]

I just preordered the FS700 w/Kit Lens (18-200mm) from Abelcine and I have to say I'm pretty excited. It'll be my first 'real' camera since my HMC days in 2008, as I sold that to jump on the DSLR bandwagon. With 1080/240p capability, I'm hoping to steal a little work from those guys using RED Epics for action sport cinematography (I shoot mountain biking).

Anyone else preorder the camera yet?

Your alright in my books! Got any stuff you've shot previously?

*Ps, Do not over use the slow motion.

Ha, definitely won't overuse the slow motion. BUT, I think when I do use it, it'll be awesome!

Here's a recent video I did with the GH2: https://vimeo.com/37213352

I think I saw that on PB, nice work!

Nice video seven.b. How did you stabilize those shots?

[seven.b]

Thanks, guys. I used a Glidecam HD4000 for some of those shots.

great work seven. i really enjoyed that mountain biking piece.

dude that was a sick video, your gonna make some great vids with fs 700!

[Billy Barber]

Nice work. Did you a) need the vest with such a light camera and b) are you planning on using the Glidecam with the Sony, or something bigger?

Thanks.

[seven.b]

Thanks Billy, I didn't need the vest with the GH2, and yes, I'll be using the HD4000 with the FS700. I'll most likely have the camera stripped down to the body+small lens (16mm e mount?) and the Zacuto EVF. I'll also probably mount the Zacuto EVF down on the base of the glidecam.
