Just ordered my first DVX. Abe's of Maine OK?

I've read these boards for some time now and I'm glad I came across it. I just ordered my first DVX after searching for a long time for a good buy. I tried to my best ability to search out a dealer that looked legit and weren't scam artists, but had a decent price also. I read reviews etc, I tried to do my homework.

So I settled on Abe's of Maine knowing they are not an authorized dealer because I just simply don't have $3000+ to spend and I won't for a long time and they seemed halfway decent. Reviews of the site are mixed, but the biggest complaint seems to be they try to sell you useless accesories over the phone. The majority of people said they accepted "no" as an answer without struggle, so I'm not worried about that.

Anyways, you guys seem experienced and wise about all these things so I would appreciate it if you would check out the product URL and tell me if you think I made a good bye or if I'm competely effed in the a.

1. Location = Edison, New Jersey. That is the same place that expresscameras.com claims to be located and they are real deadbeats.

2. They just "re-launched". Express Cameras had a law suit against them and got a pretty bad wrap (as if they didn't already give THEMSELVES a bad wrap) It almost sounds like they are trying to start out on a fresh name to destroy.

3. This is the biggest help deciding who to buy from: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Abe_s_of_Maine That site has ratings for almost every deadbeat camera shop in the states. Always take advantage of this tool when buying a camera.
 
Well, I know that Abe's of Maine has been around a while. My nieghbor bought a few things from there a few years ago with relatively little hassle and he was satisfied so i dunno.

And yes, I viewed resellerratings.com, and epinions.com, and several others. Some had a much higher positive review rate than resellerratings.com so i wanted to take every source into account before making my purchase there.
 
I bought mine at the same place last summer got the rebate got the warranty never any problems with them. I was asked the same questions I said no they shipped I was happy.

Also, the site claims "All products include every manufacturer supplied accessory and USA Warranty unless stated otherwise.", and I've searched up and down and there is nowhere they state otherwise. I'm pretty sure I've made an alright decision to buy from here but I still am appreciative of any advice or insight anyone has to offer.

Also, (not sure if this means much) they seem to have pretty decent certifications and whatnot. They are certified by BizRate.com; Cnet.com; My Simon; Price Grabber; NextTag, etc.

Edit: Thanks Whzkid. You posted as I was creating this reply. It makes me feel much better to know that somone here has bought from Abe's of Maine also. I ordered on a Sunday so I guess not getting the confirmation phone call is only expected since it's not a business day. I'll probably get one tomorrow.

Well, I guess I'll be sticking around here for a while now. I've never owned a REAL camera besides some 300 dollar crap family cam. I'm going to need pleanty of guidance from you guys I'm sure.
 
I brought a JVC deck from them. I walked in the brooklyn store and purchased it. I had no problems with it. I will visit the edison store to see if anything has changed....
