just got offered 30 minute tv show

that's right. a 30 minute show that will air every 2 months and if people like it, it'll become weekly. its on the college station which is broadcast across my county and some surrounding counties. I have full creative control on it. basically it will be a variety program. they asked me to write and direct. I'm really excited.

it wont be webcasted that i know of. i'm meeting with the producer next friday (a week from tomorrow)... he called me and said that there are going to be at most 25 people helping. lighting, editing, etc, but it'll be mostly me, my friend that is doing the Super Stud series with me, and one other person writing and directing. its like having a full writing staff to work off of.

we're hoping to bring a little more credibility to our college station with this. a lot of people think it's just news, and classes, but once word gets out that a full 30 minute variety station is on, hopefully they'll change their attitude and start watching it.

Also i do plan on doing celebrity obituaries....

And part of it can be a movie review segment, and we have a deal with our Regal theater to get free tickets to the films to review it for the show. even better! i can't wait for this to get off the ground

It has 7 counties. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Superbia (pride).

the first production meeting is today at 2pm. we're going over the overall setup of the show, timeslot, what each person is doing, etc. personally i think it should be you're in charge of your own stuff, and then shoot it yourself as a segment... we'll see if the producer agrees with me at 2. i'll post what alls going on afterwards.
