the best thing about this is i get to work with one of my best friends who does the Super Stud material with me, and we'll get to do some episodes of Super Stud for the show. it's going to be a blast, and can't wait to start production on it.
 
just got back from the meeting. there's going to be a few different sections of the show. serious news, sports, entertainment and PSA's... i'm going to be doing entertainment and the PSA's. i'll be getting a free reign pass at the local theater and see 4 or 5 films a week. i cant wait for that. also i'm in charge of the PSA's. but they're not normal PSA's. we'll be doing stuff like SNL's stuff. satirical PSA's. so that's what i'm doing.
 
ya, because it'll be my own work. the school won't have any control over it... i shoot it with their equipment and stuff, but its still my work.
 
We're having trouble coming up with a name for the show... all we have now is "The Show With No Name"... anyone got any ideas on a name for it...

it encompasses news, sports, comedy, and entertainment...


also we may be making the show an extra half hour longer to fit more things into it.

Is there something you could come up with to go with the school or your mascot or something? Is this show going to be news and sports and stuff that relate to your school or is it going to be more like a news magazine type program that focuses on world news and issues?

For example, I go to St. Cloud State (the Huskies), and a few of the programs we have on the university station are related somehow. Our Husky sports show is aptly titled "Husky Magazine", and the drama that I'm currently producing is titled "The Cloud", because it takes place in St. Cloud.

Maybe that's not what you're going for, but I know how hard it is to get a show off the ground and the last thing you want to worry about is the title.
 
We're a community college, and as far as I know we have no mascot. It's a short show, but the news is locally oriented to the area affected by college students at the school. It's not a "serious" show, we've got a lot of comedy pieces in between the news and sports segments, plus a movie review segment, and our own sort of weekend update segment.
