Glad we could get it to you in time for your big shoot. Luckily our proximity to CA now puts us anywhere from overnight to 2 days for most folks just using Ground shipping.

I too just got some hard lights from Richard. I got 4 of the CDMs. They are awesome! I can't belive how much light they put out, but are very low heat!

Haha. Lloyd ordered the last four. Now if we can just get a 250w and 400w product going I'll really be happy.

Actually, I was thinkin' about this today.

If a 150w Tungsten Exists then why not a 150w Cool Lights equivalent? So on and so forth.

Can't wait to get another 150w whenever the shipment comes in. Looks like nobody else wnats to sell theirs.

Me too. First class service from Richard. Soft lights, Fresnels, and the mother of all Fluorescents...... The 200Watt Big Bertha!!!!

We will, its just a question of not letting the ball drop on existing product production while still working on new stuff. We had a big gap last year where we were out of all product because I was so busy working on new stuff so I can't let that happen this year. We'll probably have to hire someone now at the management level to help out with watching over all this production stuff because its just too big for me and my wife alone now and someone does need to watch over it that has the vision of what we're doing.

Those 200W bulbs are truly impressive. I use them in my (formerly Starlight) softbox without the diffusion cover. I happened on something interesting. I put an 8.5x11 black piece of paper, rolled up, inside the hollow center of the light. I found that it slightly diffuses the shadows cast by this light. Not that it needs further diffusing but it does work.

My 6 , 4 and 2 bank portables, as well as my 200 watt mogul base bulb arrived Richard....Nice job... I emailed you at cool lights as well. I have a couple of follow up questions for you as well. Please read my emails on your site. Thanks again Richard..

Try white. I bet it works even better, reflecting light outward toward the outside of the softbox.

Yeah white, Will try that too. Actually I was just making sure the tubes were all firing and it is hard to see with all the light in there. That's why I put the black paper inside and happend to notice the shadows edges seemed softer. Cool eh? for Cool lights!

Hard to account for a reaction like that. I must say I never would have thought to roll up paper (either white or black for that matter) and put it in the middle like that. What about aluminum foil?
