Hello Everyone,
I just purchased a new Sony NEX-FS700RH & Odyssey 7Q (with 2-512gb SSD's & Sony RAW option) and received them today. Right now my head is about to explode as I am trying to learn and setup everything.
I have a couple of questions I hope you guys can help me with:
When I record to the Odyssey using 4K2HD with Picture Profile 7 (Slog2), what is the easiest way to apply some sort of SLOG2 - REC709 LUT easily within Adobe Premier Pro CC? When I import the clips in Premier Pro, the look very lifeless and flat. I have never messed with Slog and have no idea what to do.
Also, When I copy the files from my SSD's to my PC, the folder structure is setup like this:
}CLIPS{______________ODYSSEY >> CLIP0000001, CLIP0000002, ETC >> CLIP0000001.xml, CLIP0000001_000.mov
Right now I have been copying all of the folders located under the root directory CLIP0000001, CLIP0000002, ETC to my local PC. The problem is that when I go to import the clips into Premiere using the media browser, I must navigate inside each folder & choose the .mov clip to import. This can be very time consuming if you have 75-80 clips to import. Is there a better way to copy/import all of the footage from the SSD's
Thank you,
Robert Pfeifer
