Just got a used Cartoni for HPX

Maybe I'm missing something but the release plate slots are only "straight" slots with no "keyhole" type opening to put the screw in.

I'm fully capable of machining one end but before I do I'm wondering why Cartoni makes a plate where the slots (both 1/4-20 and 3/8") are slightly too small to fit the screw into?

It looks like the previous owner never used the 3/8", but the 1/4" slot has marks in it that look like he just forced a screw into it.

BTW- The 1/4" screw is missing. Where would be a good place to pick one up?

Never mind.:embarasse

The black anodizing made it hard to see, but there are threads at the end of each slot.

Still need a 1/4-20 screw though.

I was going to delete my original post but there was no "delete" button anymore. What gives?
