I bought this for $355 shipped about 3 days ago. it's a 503hdv with CF sticks. the price has gone way up since. i pretty much got the legs and case for free.

I've been using cheap little velbons for a while. i had a dv-7000 and a 607. they were fine for most things when i used my hv20, but not very precise and had some definite backlash. i moved up to a 7D and felt like i really needed to upgrade my sticks to match. i'm a big fan of keeping all my gear as small, simple, and lightweight as possible, so at first i was looking at the 701hdv and some small carbon fiber legs. this setup is a lot bigger than i had initially planned, but i'll be able to use this on cameras to come. it just came in today, and i can tell right off the bat that this will be tons for useful than what i'm used to.
