so finally!!! i have it guys. brand new and ready to roar. so i was fiddling around with it and i see that the servo zoom on the handle has 3 speeds. but it only zooms on 1 and 3....when i have it on 2 it doesn't move. what gives?
First of all Congrats! It is a Fine Cam. If you zoom 2 is not working It could be a faulty camera. I have never had that problem with mine. Unless someone else some kind of fix I would say contact Panny or whoever you bought it from. They should replace it if there is an issue.
phew...found the prob. u can set the zoom speeds in the menu section. it pays to read the manual...i'll read it 2morrow when my headache goes.thanks again filthyrich

Thanks in advance.
(since i had this topic up i didnt want to start another one in editing section..however if needs be i will)
Congrats mate, hope you have hours upon hours of fun with her.
Just export your edited piece as a DVAVI file, import it into Quicktime and export an H.264 680x400 1mbps file with AAC 96kpbs audio stream, this will be great for the web (upload to Vimeo)
