Just for fun: What sound does this represent?

Well, listening to a rough cut your levels were WAY lower that they should be so there should be a lot of garbage in there. I can see what is probably the camcorder (maybe LCD backlight?) at 5.6K or so and some hum at 60Hz. The rumble? could be traffic?

Ah, thank you for biting!

I can see I was not clear enough about what I meant. I was asking specifically about the picture in this thread and to be more specific about the pattern of small bumps that can be seen at from 200Hz and below.

But yeah, absolutely ignore the rough cuts. Those are all about playing with colour and light. The sound is straight from camera or experiments. You can definitely hear London rumble, the while of an atomos monitor and god knows what else! What amused me was the sound that can be seen in the picture above, which comes from my external recorder which gives me much better levels and sound quality overall.

Aram, I think you misunderstood me. Yes I listened to the rough and my comments on the low level is related to that. Everything else is related to the picture. Which is... Sound is not a graphic. I get that this is kind of a "game", but it is also a bit of BS. There are a ton of things that could look like that. But what is clear and more problematic is that you have a 60Hz buzz, and where is that coming from in London??? Should be 50Hz but it shows clearly above that so? And a whine at a very problematic pint in the spectrum.
Heartbeat? Could be. At 60 bpm it's a bit fast for a normal resting but maybe. Pocket watch... think not, that should have a lot of higher harmonics.
Game aside it's the least of your worries because it's low enough that you can just toss a filter on and make it go away. The whine though is problematic.

Maybe? Problem is it's right in the vocal range so notching might do weird things to the vocal. You might be able to take it out with Rx. Well you could definitely take it out but you might again do something weird to the vocal. Also while I don't see them buzzes and whines often have harmonics that can be a PITA.

Thank you to everyone who went for it and for the advice. I am not yet finessing the files and will probably make a thread for that when the time comes. To prove it, here is a 7 page long of me nagging people for advice

And congratulations to everyone who guessed a heartbeat, that is exactly what it was. I had recorded with exactly the same set up quite a few times before, but the environment was always so noisy that the heartbeat was gone (also, low cut does not help).

Anyone has discovered other funny surprises when editing sound?
