just finished this.

I have not posted here in a while. Here's a video i just finished with the AF100. i've had this camera since the first batch shipped, and i still havent figured out the best settings so that the avchd footage doesn't fall apart in post. I have mainly been using it for school projects. critiques are appreciated.

Over all look pretty nice, the lighting on the interview look great and simple.
A few critique, the B-roll shots that are jerky, just doesn't mix well with the video. It would been nicer to have slow and smooth pan on tripod. For example, the end of the first shot, great opening but somehow end with a jerk? The second shot was really nice steady and cut into the shaky third shot, it makes the shaky shot more shaky. The shot at 0:36 was really nice composition but titling was really bad....The shot at 1:04 you got it this time, nice. I like the zooming and tracking her movement at the tennis tho. good job on that.
Of course, I bet you were under time limitation so alot of shots are grab and go. I like some of the hand-held shot, it feels more realistic but more of close-up slow pan would have been nicer mix.
Again good job on the video.

Here is one of the interview we did, same kind of stuff, interview + B-rolls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dw_BmJhTzTI&feature=relmfu
Only had like 30 min to grab all b-rolls tho.

Thanks Tvdie23, that was very helpful. My main limitation was space. it was very tight in there and they were walking around all over the place. they had patients in and everything. I had my tripod with me along with a slider , but i could not set them up to get better B-roll.
