Just finished the spec trailer for our feature film!

Some of the footage looks great. I wonder if perhaps the V.O. explanation might work better if it was a character doing it rather than the filmmaker. Like get the movie points across but via some narration from one of the characters rather than how it is done currently. It kind of takes me as a viewer out of the film that has some nice stuff going for it at that point.

Good luck with it.

Good job. The only thing I would change is put a on screen credit when the Director starts talking.

Had a look at your site and in your budget there's no money put down for post production or film festival fees or publicity.

It has the same tone as In Search Of A Midnight Kiss which cost $12000 to shoot and then took $1,000,000 worldwide.

I'm raising money to finish our film and we're selling signed posters which are selling well. I reckon that's a better way of raising money.

Good Luck

Thanks for the feadback all.

pekar1876: We took a look at your site and the doc looks really great, hope that goes really well for you. The posters seems like a really good idea for your film, and I'm glad to hear they're selling well. Maybe we should be offering people something, it's something I'll definitely be thinking about, thanks for the example.

Oh and the budget doesn't have money for post production because hopefully we won't spend any (we can get to post facilities for free) and then as far as distribution and festivals...we figured we should make a film first, then try and raise money for that. Want to make sure we actually make a decent film before we take money to show it.
