I am finally getting to figuring out what createive avaue I can take with the footage I shot for a fim festival. And I was on the phone Next i830 and in my audio that recorded to the P2 I was that annoying cell phone ineference sound. If you ever had near speakers you know the sounds, well I was only doing a-roll and b-roll of a croud so the audio doesnt do anything for me, but I thought I would say my experience.

Yeah. I work at a radio station, and everytime someone's cellphone rings it freaks out the speakers. Doesn't go out on air though. You're saying that that interference transferred to your actual recording? That is interesting to know.

I always turn my cell phone off (not just to vibrate) when I'm recording, those damned things are a pain in the butt even when they don't ring.

I also recall seeing reports a few years ago of certain two-way radios (I think the FRMS ones that are quite popular and sold just about anywhere) interferring with some camera OIS systems and causing them to freak out. Given that such radios show up on many sets and in many venues, it would be worth checking to see whether they impact the HVX -- has anyone tried this?

yea, I thought I was done, so I turned mine back on and then saw a chance for a/b-roll turned it on to take a call.
