Junipero

It is very good overall. The forest scenes were the best part. Nice shots, well composed. The music was good. A couple parts reminded me of the Lord of the Rings look. Not bad at all.

Did you apply the filters on the camera .. or later in post ?

did you use a 35mm adapter ?

what did you edit on ?

great stuff

No filters on the camera, all effects were done in post. No 35mm adapter used, but the prequel will be using one! Edited on Final Cut Pro. Glad you liked it.

Thanks guys. Wow, gutsy filmmaking. I really liked it. A little hard to get into at first; probably because the setting/costumes reminded me of a fantasy/action film. This is actually a rumination on life/death. Loved the look of the film, and how you keyframed the CC.

My only complaint is that the lead actor was given a gigantic job, and probably wasn't fully up to the task. Talking directly to the skull/corpse is something right out of Hamlet; really tough job for an actor to make that work. The writing is good, though. I see the lead actor is also writer and co-director.

Also, you guys directly quote Shakespeare in the film -- man that takes guts! Overall, really liked the film.
