I'm starting to move away from my HMC150 and use my 5D more and more. I shoot a lot of interview video which up to this point has been on the HMC150, capturing the audio with a Sennheiser G2 and Lavalier mic. I would like to capture the interviews on my 5D but I'm undecided about wether to get a JuicedLink pre amp or capture audio off camera with a Zoom H4n. I capture b-roll sometimes using a Merlin Stedicam and I was wondering about the possibility of shooting occasional interviews with the 5D on the stedicam, using the Lav mic with the Sennheiser receiver connected to a Zoom H4n to capture the audio. I would use Pluraleyes software to sync in post. I'm fairly new to all this so does this sound workable?

The JL unit with the new firmware with the 5D in manual mode and camera gain turned way down sounds really clean to me.
