Drew599 Veteran Aug 15, 2006 #2 Why would you need jpeg 2000? As far as I know its used to encode 2K files for digital projection on a 2K projector.

O oli Member Aug 15, 2006 #3 Because it is a very good codec, and I wand to screen my footage with a 2k projector.
Drew599 Veteran Aug 16, 2006 #4 Do you have 2K footage? If you don't it would be a waste of time. If its just 1080P or 720P footage the Cine IPM with scale it to fit the 2K chip. I does a good job...depending on which brand it is.
