Mic has sold.
If you are looking at this post, you probably already know the MK-012 w/hyper caps is a fantastic mic for indoor shooting. The premium modifications from Michael Joly make it sound even better w/very low noise. Terrific mic that has barely been used. It is just gathering dust so time to pass it on........
OktavaMod MK-012-03 (all 3 capsules + pad) silver color
This includes the hypercardioid, cardioid and omni capsules.
The MK-012 was bought directly from Michael Joly in 2008. I bought the mic new from him, it was not purchased elsewhere and sent for modding. I used it for an hour to test, then tucked it away in its plastic, padded carrying case. It hasn't seen the light of day since. It includes the SM-20 shock mount Michael sells for $40, a Windtech windscreen, Michael's original certificate of authenticity, and the original plastic padded case.
Links to the original descriptions...
Award-winning microphone engineering from Michael Joly ($489 - this is black and has a wood box, mine is silver and has the plastic case ... I couldn't find a link to it in the current catalog)
Award-winning microphone engineering from Michael Joly (not that my shock mount is silver and matches the mic)
WindTech US-2 Ultra Series Universal Windscreen US-2 B&H Photo ($35)
Condition: Perfect. New mic at a used mic price.
Asking $350/obo + S&H and insurance for all the MK-012, shock mount and windscreen. Prefer PayPal. Pickup in Loudoun County, Virginia is possible to save on shipping costs.
I have never sold anything here before, and haven't posted much. My eBay id is maximillian2020 if you'd like to check feedback. For anyone local to Loudoun County, Virginia, I'm happy to meet and demo any of the mics.
