Hi all, I have just purchased a new 102 with a Lumix 12-35mm f2 lens to go with my 160A, from an NZ official distributor runout price, complete with firmware upgrade kit so I now await impatiently for delivery!! The A was out of my reach but when this came along I couldn't resist. Now I need Barry's book- not available anywhere in NZ so if anyone has one they would sell on I would be grateful. Just wanted to share!! Cheers!Rod

Congrats, man! I just got mine in February and it has been a wonderful camera and purchase! I had been shooting mostly on a GH2 before that and also had an HDV cam. Barry's book was a big help for me. So I won't be able to let it go. lol.

And then I actually just got an AC130A a few weeks ago to replace the HDV cam for event work. Also a good purchase, but the AF100 will still be my main workhorse.

The 12 - 35 looks like an outstanding lens. I haven't been willing to spend that much on it yet. If you want another zoom that has a little more reach and still a good constant aperture, then I recommend the Tamron lens that is in my sig. It's great for both interviews and b-roll, and a bit more affordable than the 12 - 35.

Thanks Ed and Brandon, just waiting now. I love my 160A and it will still get used for the more general stuff, but the af100 is going to be my "talking heads" weapon of choice. Once I have settled in with it, I may venture into the Rokinon /Samyang primes- they look amazing VFM and Erik has given some good feedback too.

But I really have to get a copy of Barry's book!!! I have one for the 160 and it has been invaluable. ANyone fancy sending me one as a welcome gift??

Cheers!
