I recently got nailed by the Panasonic selling out of GH1 combos so I started looking at getting a GH13. I found one in town (kinda, like 46 miles from me but 'in town'). The body is in great shape and the guy had many lenses. After trying to figure out a decent lens(singular) to start with and the prices being kinda high for just a lens and adapter I decided to take the plunge and buy the whole 'kit'. Lots more money than I wanted to spend but hey if I'm supposed to figure out what I like it's easier to have it on hand than try to figure it out by buying random lenses. So I picked up 6 lenses in total, now I need to part with a few of them in order to get back to about my price range. I do however have a favorite for sure.
GH13 + 24mm 2.8 FD, 28mm 2.8 Zesnar, 50mm 1.4 FD (FAV), 100mm 2.8 FD, FD 100-200 5.8 sc, Tamron 28-80 3.5-4.2.
Now I'm going to keep the 50mm and Zesnar most likely but the others will probably go. I'm currently on the hunt for a 14-42 or 14-45 (I guess there is 2 different lenses?) so my wife can shoot without having to think
Any suggestions on if there is a lens to keep for sure? I'm seeing the 100-200 is slow for film and honestly it's a bit big and heavy to carry on a hike but it doesn't have a ton of value so I'm not very attached to it. I'll probably also keep the 100mm as it's pretty pricey. For now it's a start but after 15 minutes of attempting to walk my wife though taking a picture of a flower she asked why it can't just do it already haha. Need to have a full auto lens for her happiness I suppose.
