JES Deinterlacer 3.5.4 - Reinterlace Chroma?

I have been using JES Deinterlacer to convert my 24fps stuff. It has the option to Reinterlace Chroma... I have not been using it, things seems to look ok, but should I be using it? This is not covered in the sticky topic on JES Deinterlacer usage.

In addition to this there is also another option to reinterlace chroma after reverse telecine on the project pane if the reinterlace chroma option is checked. I have not yet tried either option though.

Here are my results using JES Deinterlacer Reinterlace Chroma:

OFF: the color red is jagged
ON - Input setting only: the jagged edges disappear, but every other frame has chroma interlacing issues.
ON - Both Input and Project settings: The jagged edges are gone, and no chroma interlacing issues appear.

For best results: turn ON Reinterlace Chroma in both the Input and Project settings.
