Jello-fix - Plugin from the foundry

WHooooaaaah

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE MONEY...

It basically gives you a whole new Global SHutter camera.... incredible!!!

a better camera is one that you don't have to spend $500 to make it do what it should do in the first place!

I'm with you on this one, Zim.

I will wait for the next generation and hope that they correct this issue.

$500 is more than 1/2 the price of the camera, there will be alot of rendering, and you have to have either after effects or nuke.

I really like to be able to see my shots in the camera as close to how they will look as possible, and not have to bank on heavy post processing.

Too much hassle for me. Plus this plug in will probably be obsolete in a very short time.

It is something Nikon should fix.

Jim I was thinking the same thing. A D90 is around $900. It is nuts to spend $500 on some software to fix it, plus the time involved doing.

I'll gladly wait for something else or just buy another video camera

They didn't make this plugin with the D90 in mind.

You can get a Flip Mino HD for $200 and its pretty much the same thing that is inside the D90. $500 is way over priced for the plugin. If you are going to pay $500 to "fix" something, you could have invested in something that actually does what you wanted it to do.

Hmmm $500 isn't that bad of an investment to fix the problems of a Red, ex1/ex3, 5d, and d90.

However, I'd rather just be careful with my compositions as I'm not making whip pan hand held 24/Bourne action shoots here ;)

You can rent the plugin by the day

You can rent the plugin by the day

Did you notice that the Foundry offers the option of "renting" the plugin on a daily basis? Only $4.17 per day. If you have a small project, and you'd like to fix some footage, you can simply rent for the number of days needed. I've never seen this before, and this seems like a really great way to use a tool like this.

Okay, minimum rental amount is $100, but still seems pretty reasonable to me.
