Hey everyone, this movie is from about 8 months ago made before the short I posted last week called Samsara: Episode 2. This one is called Jean Shorts and is a compelling drama about two boys and their jean shorts and the ridicule they endure while wearing them. They also love each other.

I'm kidding of course, although the part about two boys and their jean shorts is true, and the part about them loving each other... well, you be the judge. Jean Shorts is a series of comedy shorts that revolve around a small Illinois town during a nice summer day. Though if you don't laugh throughout any of it, which will probably happen, then consider Jean Shorts the compelling drama I described above.

There's footage during the credits so don't turn it off. And oh yea, this was shot just on the DVX100a straight with no chaser.

i watched bits and pieces (will watch the whole thing later). i definitely liked it.

i had a question though, how did you get your video to be widescreen on vimeo, i exported my video from FCP as anamorphic and when it uploads, it is still in 4:3, which is weird because the file on my computer is 16:9

Whenever I upload as an .avi for anything, even if I format it in widescreen in Vegas it will display in 4:3. But usually I just convert to quicktime or in this case DIVX and input the 16:9 ratio manually. I usually just look at the display to find the proper ratio to export it as a .mov or convert the .AVI into DIVX (using the seperate DIVX encoder program) if i'm working in the widescreen setting.

Hilarious. I loved how the two dudes were dancing and the other one came out, they look at eachother for a beat, and then he starts dancing with them. Brilliant.

Woundeful work!!
love all your stuff.
I'll become a Fan of yours.....tomorrow

"Samsara" and "Short Jeans" Great Job!!

Clone Wars Part I....

Overall = real entertainment value! Great job!

Hey sorry it took me so long to respond, I was busy becoming a manly man by camping in the woods of Minnesota. But yes, all the lighting was natural lighting. And glad you guys enjoyed the movie.
