GH2 JCC TM intervalometer works on GH1, but not GH2?

I bought a JJC TM Series intervalometer from eBay that has always worked flawlessly with my GH1.

I have a GH2 now, and the GH2 does not respond to the remote at all. It is plugged in and I am using identical Manual stills mode settings that I did on the GH1, and it completely ignores the shutter presses from the remote.

Anyone else have this problem? I was under the impression it should work on both. Is my GH2 defective? Any other way to test?
