Hi, I just purchased "New" used DVX100B from B&H. It arrived at my house and the instructions are in Japanese. Also all the stickers in the camera are Japanese as well. They told me the only reason the camera was considered used was because another company went out of business and they bought them up. I am questioning wether the camera is NTSC and if the Camera is Japanese what does that mean? Can someone help?
Thanks,

Well, if it's Japanese it's NTSC. But, it's Japanese, and not a U.S. Authorized camera. Meaning it won't be eligible for rebates, and/or warranty. But, if you bought it used, you might not be eligible for those things anyways.

Either start learning Japanese, or ask them to take it back and send you a U.S. product.

Thanks. I know it's not eligible for rebates because it is already discounted. I purchased a mack 2 year warrenty for an extra $100. Does it make it a less valuable camera because it was meant for a Japanese Market?

you should be able to change the menu language somewhere if i'm not mistaken... i have a japanese model as i live in Japan but all the menus are in english.
